I am currently looking into getting some government grant money to purchase rental housing for out of town cancer patients. It has been my experience that many of the out of town patients are in need of affordable housing that provides them with a stable, comfortable and educational experience while going through treatment. Many patients are forced to stay in a hotel for months at a time and have reported to me that it was not the ideal situation. The goal is to equip the place with the necessities cancer patients need for recovery (educational material, water filters, stainless cookware, nontoxic cleaning products, soaps etc..) If anyone is familiar with these programs or knows of any large corporations that do this type of thing please let me know. There is a huge demand and it would be a good place to educate patients on proper health during and after treatment. If you have any information please email me at THANK YOU!!!!!!!
