NUTRITION MATTERS

A few of you have asked me to pass on some of the information I have gathered regarding diet and things I have learned. Here is a quick list. . Stay tuned, there is much to come. Here is a list from the doctor and from a few books I have read over the last few weeks on the subject. The book was specifically written for cancer recovery but I think it is safe to say that it could apply to anyone. The book is BEATING CANCER WITH NUTRITION by PATRICK QUILLIN. If you or anyone you know is dealing with cancer, I highly suggest picking up this book. The book is filled with great information on how important nutrition is for cancer and for overall health in general. There are also tons of documented examples of people having drastic positive results during their cancer treatments with nutrition. It is funny the doctor at the clinic told me there was nothing I could eat to help my cause. Yet there are literally thousands of books that document how important and how beneficial nutrition to heal and recover from cancer. I am not sure if the doctor is too stupid or too arrogant to consider there are other methods besides his. I suspect it is probably a combination of both, and he is not alone. He is actually in the majority of oncologists who don't use nutrition at all when it is documented that up to 40 percent of cancer patients actually die from malnutrition. Yet is is never addressed. I didn't know much about how bad certain foods were until I read this book and talked to the doctor.

BEST FOODS oil from fish, flax, primrose, borage, hemp, MCT, PAM, olive, sesame, lecithin green leafy, broccoli, cabbage, peppers, sprouts, onions, beets, tomato, carrots, asparagus, cauliflower, cod, halibut, salmon, orange ruff, bass, sole sardine, haddock, pumpkin, yam, organic liver, oranges, apple, pear, berries, cantaloupe, kiwi, fig, cherries, apricot, red grape, yogurt, wheat germ, brewers yeast, whole grain, barley, oats, flax, brown rice, spinach pasta ( white pasta is horrible, any type of white rice, bread etc... is all processed flower or sugar and is horrible) buckwheat, spelt wheat, Ezekiel bread, multi grain bread, soybean, garbanzo bean, kidney bean, lentil bean, navy bean, split peas, black eyed peas, pinto beans, black beans, bee pollen, spirulina, garlic, vinegar, mustard, salsa, curry, cinnamon, ginger, green tea, cayenne, stevia, kelp, MONAVIE!!!!!! WHEN POSSIBLE BUY ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS, FREE RANGE, ORGANIC EGGS, CHICKEN, BEEF, ETC... ALWAYS BUY ORGANIC PRODUCE IF POSSIBLE. IF you cant find organic produce, let the veggies or fruit soak in warm water and 2 tablespoons of vinegar for five minutes then rinse. This helps get all of the pesticides off the food. Also, non organic vegetables and fruits are pumped with steroids and agents to improve color.

GOOD canola oil, coconut oil, radish, celery, lima bean, zucchini, squash, lettuce, avocado, veg. juice, turkey, chicken (organic, free range) lamb, liver, eggs, veal, pork, wild game, watermelon, grapes, honeydew, plum, banana, pineapple, papaya, whole wheat pasta, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, low fat milk and cheese, soy milk, walnut, almond, sunflower seed, sesame seed, soy sauce, Worcester, Tabasco, flax dressing, sage, thyme, black tea

FAIR oil from soy, corn, safflower, beef ( organic free range ) catfish, dried fruit, raisins, dates, prunes, canned fruit, corn chips, granola, wheat crackers, tortillas, grits, peanuts, peanut butter, reg cheese, reg milk, xylitol, Italian dressing, red wine, carob, chocolate.

POOR commercial breakfast cereals, bacon, pizza, smoked ham, prime rib, gelatin, desserts, sweet corn, white rice, molasses, butter, white wine, BEER, mayonnaise, Celtic salt, COFFEE ( coffee has over 200 acids that are very harmful, exotic coffees are worse) honey, fructose,

BAD pickles, salami, bologna, sausage, hot dogs, bbq ribs, ( just about any type of pork is awful for you, pigs DNA are 85 percent similar to ours which is problematic when consumed) waffles, pancakes, cake, cookies, ice cream, blue cheese dressing

WORST margarine, aspartame, syrup, MSG, SODA POP, DIET POP, pastries, pie, donuts, lard, hydrogenated fat, SUGAR, hard liquor, SMOKING Everything I have read and was told by the doctor is smoking is the absolute wost thing you could ever do to your body. It takes your body 7 years to recover from one inhalation of a cigarette ( one puff, not one cigarette)

Also, the health and beauty products you use are mostly filled with toxic materials as well. I was told to throw out anything I used or ate that had more than 1 ingredient on it that i did not know. That includes soap, deodorant, cleaning materials, toothpaste, lotion, etc... Read the labels on almost anything you use and you will understand how mind boggling it is how many unknown chemicals we are unknowingly putting into our bodies. All you girls ( as well as a few of you guys) the makeups you are using are filled with awful poisons. Again, if it has one ingredient that you don't know what it is, don't use it. These things can be more expensive than your average run of the mill products you are used to buying but in the long run it is cheaper than getting cancer. ( if you don't believe me I will send you a few of the medical bills) PASS ON THIS INFORMATION TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED!!!!!! Now is the time to start taking better care of yourselves!!!!!!!! If you have any questions e mail me or call me!

  1. The list is definitely interesting, but due to recent findings (that became known after the book's release) I would refrain from consuming soy. It's most beneficial if you start consuming it when you're young, but as you age its properties aren't as useful. Actually due to its potential hormonal fluctuations, it may pose a cancer risk to menopausal women. Lastly, the main manufacturer of soybeans is Monsanto who not only uses genetically modified seeds, but a large dose of pesticides.

Pizza also isn't so bad depending on the type of crust and quantity. If you made your own whole wheat crust and limited your intake it can be beneficial because you're not only consuming fiber, but lycopene concentrations are much higher in tomato paste than in tomatoes alone.

  2. My doctors told me soy was bad because it was so estrogen strong. No more soy!
